I’m an Associate Professor (senior lecturer) at the Seymour Fox School of Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

As a sociocultural researcher, I study how education shapes democracy, citizenship, and civic engagement—and how, in turn, democratic ideals and struggles shape the goals, practices, and possibilities of education, especially in conflict-ridden contexts.
